This policy explains how I Beat Osgood handles information. Parents purchase the Program; athlete pain and activity entries are stored locally on the device used.

1. Who we are
I Beat Osgood is operated by Gevantage, ABN 77 151 942 773, PO Box 19, Belrose West NSW 2085, Australia. Contact info@ibeatosgood.com about privacy. We protect personal information as described here and comply with applicable privacy law, including the Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles where they apply. Health information is sensitive and should be shared only when necessary.
2. Information we hold
Purchase details: the purchaser's name, email address and country, plus payment records such as amount, date, card type, last four digits and transaction ID. These support payment, refunds, access and tax records. Stripe processes payments; we do not receive or store full card numbers.
Access details: access links, device activation counts and activation dates, used to manage the three-device household limit and reset devices. When the athlete starts the Program, the app also records the program start date (only the date) against your purchase, so our weekly program emails match the athlete's week.
Support correspondence: emails and refund requests, used to respond and keep a record. If you voluntarily include health information, we use it to address your request. Please send only what is needed.
Technical information: our hosting provider may receive IP addresses, device and browser information and pages visited for security and operation. These technical records are separate from the athlete's locally stored entries.
You can browse without giving us your name. Purchaser details are needed to complete a sale and send access.
3. Athlete entries and children
The app stores the athlete's first name, program week and stage, routine and Workout completion, pain ratings and sport sessions in that device's browser. Those entries are not transmitted to us or our service providers through the app, and we cannot view or restore them. They do not sync between devices. Parent View displays them on the same device.
We do not require athlete accounts, email addresses, passwords, surnames, dates of birth, school details, photos, precise location or contact lists. We do not build server-side profiles from athlete pain and activity entries.
A parent or guardian must authorise and supervise use, including entering the athlete's information locally. Parents should contact us on a child's behalf. If a child contacts us directly, we will delete their personal information after dealing with the request, unless retention is legally required.
4. How we use and share information
We use information to process purchases and refunds, send access links and important service notices, manage access, answer support requests, keep the site secure and working, improve the Program and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it to make automated health decisions about athletes.
We share necessary information with the providers that help us operate the service: Stripe (payment processing and refunds), Vercel (website and app hosting), Resend (sending access-link emails), Google (Gmail, for handling support emails) and Cloudflare (routing emails sent to our address through to our inbox). Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy policy. Providers receive only information needed for their role, not locally stored athlete entries. Athlete entries saved in the app are not transmitted to these providers through the app. Information you choose to include in support emails is handled by our email providers.
These providers process information in Australia, the United States and other countries where they operate. We take reasonable steps to protect information and meet applicable requirements for overseas disclosure.
We may disclose information to professional advisers or where law requires or permits. A business sale or restructure may transfer customer records, subject to applicable law and the commitments in this policy.
We ask for separate permission before publishing a testimonial, identifying details, photos or videos. For material involving a child, we obtain permission from their parent or guardian. We confirm what will be published and where it will be used. Sending us feedback or requesting support does not give us permission to publish it.
5. Marketing and browser storage
We send marketing emails only if you opt in, with an unsubscribe link in each email. Purchase and service notices are separate. Service notices include your access link and short weekly program emails to the purchaser during the eight weeks; each weekly email has an unsubscribe link. We do not send marketing to athletes or display advertising aimed at children.
Local storage saves athlete progress and remembers device activation. Cookies support website functions, including checkout. Clear cookies or site data through your browser settings; clearing site data erases locally saved progress. Protect the device with a passcode and keep separate copies of entries you want to retain.
6. Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, restricted system access and reputable providers. No online service is completely secure. We respond to data breaches and notify affected people and regulators when required by applicable law.
Purchase and payment records are kept for seven years for tax and company record keeping, then deleted or de-identified. Support emails are kept for up to two years after the conversation ends. Access records are kept while access is active and deleted within 12 months of a refund or deletion request. Records required by law may be retained for the required period.
Athlete entries remain on the device until cleared. We cannot delete them remotely.
7. Access, correction, deletion and complaints
Email info@ibeatosgood.com to request access to, correction of or deletion of information we hold. Use the purchase email address where possible; we may need to verify your identity. We respond within 30 days and do not charge for making a request. We explain any legal reason we must retain information or cannot fulfil a request.
For locally stored athlete entries, use Parent View on the athlete's device to view them and browser settings to clear the site data. We cannot export or erase those entries for you.
Send privacy complaints to the same email address. We acknowledge them within seven days and aim to resolve them within 30 days. If unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au where the matter falls within its jurisdiction, or an applicable local privacy regulator.
8. Overseas customers and policy changes
We operate from Australia; purchaser and service information may be handled here and in countries where our providers operate. Overseas customers may have additional rights under their local laws and can contact us to exercise them.
We keep the current dated policy on the website. We notify purchasers before material changes to information handling take effect and obtain consent where required by law.
